BALLFEST 2018: Help St. Lawrence Center + Help Yourself

by | Apr 18, 2018 | New this month

“Feet, please!

Hips and low back for me!

Neck and shoulders, as always!”

Satori regulars know that BALL WORK is the fastest ticket to pain / tension relief.

There’s a good sciency reason for that {sorry, I just couldn’t help myself}:

According to the 2012 research, it takes only 90 seconds for the cells to begin responding to touch + pressure changes.

It takes a whole lot longer for a pill to dissolve and make it into the blood stream.

The trouble is that during regular scheduled classes we have so – so – soooo much on our agenda that we just can’t get into really specific ball rolling + stretching tools for stubborn problem areas such as feet, hips, or shoulders.

That’s why I’ve put together 3 very specific workshops that cover targeted ball – stretch recovery techniques for feet, hips and shoulders – in great detail + up close and personal.

BALLFEST 2018  –  Saturday, April 28

9:30 – 11:45 AM: Un-HURT your Feet
BALL + YIN for FEET, ANKLES and KNEES

12:30 – 2:45 PM: Un-STUCK your Hips
BALL + YIN for HIPS and LOW BACK

3:15 – 5:30 PM: Un-SORE your Neck
BALL + YIN for NECK and SHOULDERS

 The good:

Each class is choke full of relax – exercises to melt away tension and stress from your neck, shoulders, hips, back and feet.

 The BETTER:

Each registration {1, 2, or 3 workshops} includes a set of YOGA THERAPY balls {value of 25$ } so you have the tools you need at home.

 THE BEST:

Register for more than one class and save BIG!

Here you can create the content that will be used within the module.

Any one workshop:

97$ + GST

Any two workshops:

79$ + GST each

Any three workshops:

68$ + GST each

BESTEST YET:

10% of all workshop sales will go to St. Lawrence Center.

Recently The Saint Lawrence Centre Homeless Drop In program had to reduce hours of operation due to financial situation. Reduced hours of operation means the city’s homeless {for some of us that means daughters, sons, sisters and brothers} have fewer options for shelter, support, and respite over the next six months.

The Centre depends on community support for nearly 90% of its operating budget. Without our help it will not be able to provide the care and support needed by the most vulnerable folks in Grande Prairie.

Let’s do something about it – shall we!?

Join the BALLFEST 2108. Help yourself. Help others.  win – WIN – WIN.

Hey, my name is Julia

Living with chronic pain has taught me to look for solutions in unlikely places –  places where most people see only problems.

Over the years I’ve gotten to be pretty good at this problem-solving and silver-lining finding thing.

So good that I felt compelled to share what I’ve learned and help others to find their sea legs while navigating, living, and winning their battle with chronic pain.
